The Orcs Get Ready To Slay Dwarves With Artisan Guild
October 6, 2015 by brennon
Artisan Guild Miniatures have revealed some of the new models they are working on to fight against the Dwarves we saw last week. This time it is the turn of the Orcs and in typical Fantasy fashion they have an axe to grind with the Dwarves...on their bones.
This chap above is named Kurgash Dwarf-Slicer and looks like quite the mean fellow. I love this design of Orc, pulling on the string of them being more lean and mean, compared to the burly brutishness of the gorilla-style Orcs you'll have seen in the likes of Warhammer.
As well as Kurgash he also needs some warriors to lead and they have been working on the renders for them...
These warriors are looking rather heavily armoured and I do like the addition of those spikes on their helmets to give additional weapons to fight with. While all the heads are the same right now I'm sure that there will be some other options in the future.
I really can't wait to see how this set turns out and then pit them against Dwarves on the tabletop.
What do you think of the work so far?

the work in progress pic looks like an Ork version of mount Rushmore?
nice start to the figures.
I like the look of the helmet most of all so far.
Those are looking good.
