GT Studio Creations’ Orc Warband Is Taking Over Kickstarter
February 7, 2017 by deltagamegirl22
GT Studio Creations has a rowdy bunch of Orcs taking over Kickstarter. Their Orc Warband 30mm Miniatures are a great addition to a fantasy army or collection.
These guys (and gals!) are full of burly character and detail and look like absolute bad asses. Their combination of muscle and beastly weapons should be enough to intimidate any number of foes.
Judging by the silhouettes on the project page, they have a number of additional character we're dying to meet as the project moves along, but to get things started there are male and female orcs and two goblins.
We never tire of seeing just what companies can do with greenskins who are some of the most enigmatic looking characters in tabletop gaming.
What do you think of this rowdy bunch?

The miniatures are great, astonishing really but How cool might have been if instead of the stylized female orc they made a buffed one too? Or maybe a gender swap of both, the buffed female and the stylized male orcs. That for me sounds awesome.
Still loving the miniatures, some of the best 3D I have seen.
That’s exactly what I thought the moment I saw both of them. It’d be awesome to see a huge overmuscled female orc too. I hope that there’s one by the time the whole warband is revealed.
Terrific sculpting, in any case. I can’t fault the talent here.
Not what I would expect for Orcs which isn’t a bad thing. It is nice to see new takes on a classic. I’m not sold on the female Orc. Not that it is a bad sculpt quite the opposite it is a very nice sculpt. I guess I just don’t see Orc when I look at it. Having said all that I wouldn’t mind having those models in my collection.
You’re right. I do see a great half-orc player character though! 🙂 I think more of our female players would play half-orcs if they saw this model. Half-orcs don’t have to be ugly; they can be very Dionysian.
I can see half orc for her.
The huge guy would be a really nice Ogrun in Iron Kingdoms, and honestly, I’d love to see more options for female ogrun minis.
Female ogrun need to be big and muscly orc-type characters, but not necessarily ugly (so far, I’ve had to convert them, because any female ogre-type minis are all gross looking).
With the sculpting talent shown off here, I’m sure they can pull off a big beefy female orc. I hope they have plans among all those silhouettes.
not sure of the first two but I like the goblin gremlin? guy.
I really do like the Hulk take on orcs as well the goblins don’t look weak even though they may be shorter than the others.
Nice looking models. Think that warlord on monster will get funded?
So the first set (what you see above) is funded, in addition to additional 4 goblins (which they haven’t shown the renders for yet (Set 2) . Really nice minis, and i know this is a family website but that lady orc has a nice @r$e , not quite female dwarf standard but a damn sight better than any androgynous she-elf ……. Now I am worried about the female orc punching me in the face for being forward .
The Goblins really stand out to me!
yes they are great can’t wait to see what the next 4 (Set 2) look like
