Khurasan Open Up Area 51 & It’s Full Of 15mm Greys!
August 24, 2016 by brennon
Khurasan Miniatures have now released the first models in their 15mm Modern Alien Invasion range and we're focusing in on their Greys for now which come in two flavours. Evaluation and Conflict...in what mood would you prefer your aliens?
These are little fellows indeed but they immediately made me think about putting together some kind of scenario where you play a group of soldiers and scientists trying to round them up as they try and escape from Area 51.
One thing is for sure. I would not like to come anywhere near those big spikes they have on the ends of their arms.
Khurasan have also mentioned that this range will feature the largest miniature they have ever produced. We can't wait for that!
What do you think of these fellows?

they look good a bit wee to be the close encounters aliens or THOR but.
They seem to be armed with big nasty probes… ouch!
Very simple, and very effective ! The mistake would have been to add anything too complex, or technological details, or making them more like Tau or Independence Day aliens, and so on… this is the UFO “canon”, this is what everybody recognizes, the miniatures are easy to paint and not too crowded.
Would make great X-Com skirmish game mini’s.
As soon as I saw the minis I thought the same thing, a small covert team of international special ops having to deal with landings and attacks around the world. The scenario screams for a skirmish table top game.
Hmm… I’ve been looking for some miniatures to replace the cardboard standees in my ‘Level 7: Escape’ game. I wonder what else they have in the range?
