New Quickstart Sets For Grimdark Future & Age Of Fantasy!
April 12, 2023 by brennon
OnePageRules has put together two new Quickstarter Sets that have been designed for newcomers wanting to play their 28mm scale wargames, Grimdark Future and Age Of Fantasy. Each set comes with all the bits and pieces you need to start playing their Sci-Fi and Fantasy games.
Grimdark Future Quickstart Set // OnePageRules
The first set has been designed to cover Grimdark Future and Firefight and comes with a band of Dynasty warriors alongside OnePageRule's Robot legions. A fun match-up of elite warriors going up against an ancient foe that has been awoken from its slumber.
The set also comes with bits for playing out your games in 2D or 3D (just make sure you fire up the printer!) and you also get tokens, a mini-campaign to teach you the game, the core rules and more including lore for Grimdark Future.
If you prefer your quick and easy wargames set in the realms of Fantasy with swords and sorcery then you can also get your hands on the Age Of Fantasy set.
Age Of Fantasy Quickstart Set // OnePageRules
This has been designed for Age Of Fantasy and Skirmish and features the mighty Saurians going up against the Mummified legions of the undead that have been summoned forth from the sands. You will also get the same array of tokens, mini-campaign booklets, army lists, rules and more that will be handy for getting started with the game.
It's also worth mentioning once again that both of these sets are available for FREE. Just download them and away you go. I really like that each comes with different options regarding miniatures but also features a mini-campaign to teach you how to play over the course of five missions. That's the kind of entry-level goodness that gets people hooked!
Are you going to be picking up either of these Quickstart Sets?

First thought: “Free minis! Yeah!”
Second thought: “STL files. No real minis”
Coffee still not kicking in XD
Ooh interesting beasts an bones.
Been up for a few weeks now with the website relaunch, pretty good and neat way of getting into the games.
Quick starts to get people’s imagination started for open mini settings. Its a good way to include the printer crowd as well.
