The first of the reveals was quite small (comparatively) with a look at the Bloodpelt Hunter that heralds a new Battletome for the Ogor Mawtribes.

Somewhat different to their Ogor brothers and sisters, the Bloodpelt Hunter doesn't just strip everything that they kill for food. Instead, they keep the remains of their prey and use them as they travel The Mortal Realms.

That means using a big lizard head as an arrow quiver and making sure that the pelts of dead beasts are used to keep them warm. Ogres in Warhammer Fantasy Battles and Ogors by extension have always been a bit mercenary so this might be the fellow you need to take down a beast ravaging the local town.

This miniature will be coming out alongside the new Ogor Mawtribes Battletome that is slated for later this Autumn. Destruction is going to be having a good time of it though as Autumn also heralds the return of the Sons Of Behemat in a big way too.

Sons Of Behemat Return Under A New King

First heard of during the Realmgate Wars, King Brodd is now ready to stomp back into The Mortal Realms and lead his Gargants and Mega-Gargants into battle. Those puny Cities Of Sigmar are going to be turned to dust!

The new miniature for King Brodd will come as an upgrade kit for the existing Mega-Gargant that turns it into this towering royal. As you can see, the miniature for King Brodd is pretty detailed!

King Brodd comes armed with his massive hammer that makes good use of a tree and some ancient architecture. You've also got all of those little Creepers crawling over his massive frame that help attend to his needs and make sure his warpaint looks just right.

King Brodd is going to be leading the way for the forces of Destruction throughout the Autumn so watch out for his rules alongside the new Battletome that shouldn't be too far behind the Ogor Mawtribes' entry for the new edition.

New Slaves To Darkness Launch Set

As well as the towering monstrous creatures coming to the forces of Destruction, the forces of Chaos are not to be left out. The Slaves To Darkness are getting a new Launch Set that comes with a host of new miniatures for starting an army following Archaon or Be'lakor.

The new Launch Set comes with a bevvy of new miniatures that are going to be a welcome boon for the followers of Chaos.

Leading the way, you have a new Daemon Prince miniature. We've spied this before as part of past previews by Games Workshop and it comes with both an Undivided vibe OR you can go all out and pledge your allegiance to one of the different Gods Of Chaos.

I'm not overly sure about the details on the Daemon Prince itself but I think that the different heads are fantastic. I particularly like the Khorne version and the Slaanesh one. You could have some real fun with this kit as a kitbasher though I reckon!

Another of the previously previewed sets are the Ogroid Theridons who are going to be marching into battle as some of the hard hitters in your force.

I've always liked the Ogroids since we saw them in The Silver Tower and it's awesome to see the range of miniature expand beyond Warhammer Quest and Warcry. They also make up for the terrible Minotaurs that the Beasts Of Chaos still have to deal with. I would hope that Beastmen players will take these and use them in place of those older plastic miniatures.

Another big surprise was that the Slaves To Darkness are going to be getting themselves some updated miniatures for the Chaos Chosen.

I hope you like painting trim. These Chaos Chosen take things to the next level for the forces of Chaos though and are incredibly tempting as a prospect. I could see myself being drawn into making an army of Chaos for Age Of Sigmar now. Damn that sexy Chaos! Importantly, these miniatures look like they could actually kill you!

The Gorechosen Stomp Into Warhammer Underworlds

Finishing off the look at what's coming to The Mortal Realms we had another warband preview for Warhammer Underworlds. Meet The Gorechosen Of Dromm.

The Nethermaze is not safe from the will of the Chaos Gods and so the Gorechosen have been sent to plunder its riches and kill, maim and destroy whatever stands in their way.

Gorechosen Of Dromm - Warhammer Underworlds

Gorechosen Of Dromm // Warhammer Underworlds

Led by the rather impressively named Dromm, Wounder Of Worlds, this set of Khornate warriors are intent on claiming the Nethermaze in the name of Khorne. Dromm as a Priest can enrage his allies (can they get more rage...filled?) and make the Gorehulk (left) even more powerful.

If you're someone who has been lamenting the missing forces of Khorne in Warhammer Underworlds since the first expedition into Shadespire, this might be for you. Get that red paint and blood splatter at the ready.

Phew. Well, that's everything for Warhammer Age Of Sigmar and Warhammer Underworlds!
