Oathsworn Resculpt Classic Burrows & Badgers Miniatures
May 14, 2021 by brennon
Oathsworn Miniatures have revisited some of their classic sculpts from the Burrows & Badgers collection. The hero and villain that you see below were some of the first to be sculpted and so they have become quite attached to them! With that in mind, they got redone to match the more recent style of the collection.
Garrow One-Eye // Oathsworn Miniatures
The first of the miniatures that got resculpted was Garrow One-Eye. This fellow is the Hare Knight that could well have been the first miniature many of us picked up for Burrows & Badgers. I love the old sculpt but this new version of Garrow is packed with movement and action. You get the sense that he is desperately tackling some foe on the battlefield, rain lashing down and churning the dirt into mud around him.
Facing off against him, we have the Great Brown Rat known as Sligott Doomclaw.
Sligott Doomclaw // Oathsworn Miniatures
This is a massive improvement over the original sculpt, in my opinion, and I love the cruel pose that they've gone for here. You get the sense that Sligott is glaring down over the battlefield as he watches Garrow take on his rat warriors in a desperate battle. There is something dominating and evil about Doomclaw here and I love it.
It's great to see more sculpting going on behind the scenes for Burrows & Badgers. These two characters may end up coming up alongside the Town Guard and Street Gangs that Oathsworn are working on.
I am certainly going to have to pick up this pair at the very least. I love the idea of putting together a deadly clash between Doomclaw and One-Eye on the tabletop.
What do you think?

Ack, Oathsworn! I’ve given you my earnings in the recent Kickstarter! When will it be enough?? (In all honesty: hopefully never :p)
Those look really promising.
