Oathsworn Miniatures Sculpt More Mice For Burrows & Badgers!
August 2, 2022 by brennon
Oathsworn Miniatures has been showing off more previews of upcoming Burrows & Badgers miniatures. The focus this time is on some more mice (I do like their mice) who can be used to make some fun new warbands in the future.

A lot of folks have been eager to get more mice for Burrows & Badgers to make a single-species warband or two. Now, there isn't a lack of them in the game but it's always nice to have more options and enable you to make all sorts of themed warbands for your games. I know I've been looking to try and do a Robin Hood-themed warband entirely focused around mice for example.
That's where this Kindred Knight (below) might come in. I love the pose with the arrow drawn as the mouse sights its target. I like the addition of the arrows strapped into their belt as well, easily drawn in the moment.

There are plenty of other mice to make the "Merry Mice" including Will Scarlet types, Maid Marian and Friar Tuck. There are also plenty of miniatures that could be used as vagabonds and rogues or perhaps protects of the various cities and towns in Northymbra. For example, here is their Tunnel Jack.

I also really liked their Wildling Mouse here who comes adorned in furs and bones. You've got a proper wild lady there with a nasty-looking stone axe and a shield that is probably used to beat people up as well!

Capping things off, we have a wise old Mage with his quirky top hat at the ready. He is fumbling in his pocket for some spell ingredient to deal with an irritating foe or two. I love the style of the staff and I think the miniature as a whole would be really fun to paint.

These new sculpts are most likely going to be heading to Kickstarter in the future. When another five or so miniatures have been sculpted I would warrant these will pop up on crowdfunding at the beginning of 2023.
New Sculpts // Burrows & Badgers
A nice bunch of miniatures for Burrows & Badgers that continue the theme of "something different" within the wargaming sphere. If you're interested in a fun range of miniatures and a great skirmish game, it is well worth checking out Burrows & Badgers.
What new mice would you like to see?
