Oathsworn Journal Issue #4 Lands For Burrows & Badgers Fans
October 21, 2021 by brennon
Oathsworn Miniatures has now added the fourth issue of their Oathsworn Journal into the mix for Burrows & Badgers fans. If you like the anthropomorphic Fantasy miniatures from this game then this is a neat way to learn the musings of the folks behind the game.
Oathsworn Journal Issue #4 // Oathsworn Miniatures
The newest issue of the Oathsworn Journal is packed with design thoughts and ideas that cover a variety of different factions in the game. There is a lot more information for you to test out for the Necromantic Warbands for example.
As well as some developmental musings we also have a Battle Report to enjoy from this episode which is great to see!

There is also something for those who want to help build up their faction of choice with a bit of narrative. You'll find a full name generator in the journal which should help you come up with unique names for your different warband members for example.

You will also find a look at the upcoming Dillendorf Agreement for Burrows & Badgers which will be a big map-based campaign for those playing the game. It has been fun seeing the way that Burrows & Badgers has been expanding and the map-based campaign seems like a good next step.
There is also a great modelling and painting tutorial that shows how to get that extra bit of "grim" from your Burrows & Badgers miniatures.
Conversion Tutorial // Oathsworn Miniatures
Burrows & Badgers has always been a game that has veered towards the darker side of things despite the colourful characters. So, it was neat to see something like this pop-up. I have tried out a bit of a grim paint scheme with my miniatures before and it worked quite well!
Make sure to check out the latest issue and give us your thoughts on the expanding world of Burrows & Badgers!

A great looking game to get kid’s addicted to playing proper game. With the wind in the willows crossed with robin hood.
I actually picked up the rule book, the campaign the two almanacs and the two starter warbands a few months back but haven’t done much with them due to other projects. I should really paint a few and have a play.
This book looks really useful. I’m a big fan of necromancer style factions.
Great game with different size dice representing different size animals – and the minis really are a joy to paint.
