German developer Nürnberger-Spielkarten-Verlag (NSV) is bringing out a new version of their Spiel des Jahres Nominated game The Mind, adding a new level of experience with a two-track CD.

The Mind is a card game with a difference. The aim of the game is to place cards down sequentially, going from lowest to highest. That's it.

However, you are hampered by the fact that you are not allowed to talk or communicate with your fellow players in any way. All you can do is make eye contact and try desperately to develop telepathy.

The idea of The Mind: The Sound Experiment is that the sound track will serve to set the pace for your game, which could make it harder or easier to win.

The Mind is already a very experimental game, and one which definitely proves to be a challenging experience, especially for those like myself who aren't too fond of eye-contact at the best of times. I am interested to find out though just how different the experience is when a dedicated soundtrack is added to it.

Thin you know your friends well enough to play this game?
