Northumbrian Tin Soldier Gets Curious About Cats

"Welcome traveller, start your journey deep into the mysterious Darkewood but watch your step, don't linger long lest you lose yourself in the realm of the Nightfolk".
If you've not come across them before the Northumbrian Tin Soldier company design some fantastically whimsical 28mm fantasy figures. This time around they are on the run-up to a Kickstarter for The Curious Case Of The Cats Of Crumpton
While the Kickstarter itself is six weeks out we do know a few things already, the town of Crumpton inhabits the Darkewood which is the world Northumbrian Tin Soldier created to house their weird and wonderful creations. It will be a set of miniatures representing the iconic Dungeons & Dragons character classes in feline form and will also have material for them to game in the Darkewood using D&D 5th edition.
We got a sneak peek of some of the greens for the initial batch the other day and I'm excited to see what else is coming as they start to tease the run-up to the Kickstarter, you can join the mailing list for the Curious Cats of Crumpton to be kept up to date with exclusive previews of each of the miniatures, along with the concept art that led to their creation. As well as that the Tin Soldier crew have said if people want to ask questions about the project or provide insight and feedback they would welcome it either through their email or message them directly on their facepage
As they get closer to October 29th and the start of the Kickstarter I'm sure we'll see more of the Cats and hear about Crumpton, a setting and figure range they have been preparing for months behind closed doors.
Are you curious about Crumpton's Cats?

Never bought any Northumbrian Tin Soldier models (or I don’t remember doing it), but have admired from afar. They do a lot of very nice minis. Keep us updated!
I have most of their Time (Bandits) Robbers range and I love them. Tales from the River Bank may be next but the goblins and dwarfs are pressing hard
great fun looking figures a interesting group.
