North Star Preview New Human Militia Set For Oathmark [Updated]

North Star Military Figures previewed a new plastic set coming to their 28mm Fantasy wargaming range for Osprey Games' Oathmark. The Human Militia are coming soon, allowing you to build up the rank and file that you mass together to defend your kingdom.

This does show off a whole host of the different options that you can use when building your Militia unit. You have a motley assortment of weapons and light armour as well as some great head options. They do look like they have been dragged from the fields to do some fighting.

Whilst these previews show off the Human Militia with hand weapons and shields, you will be getting hoods and bows on the sprues as well. That means that you'll be able to make ranged options for your Human Militia as well as those getting ready for a scrap in close combat.

Like a few other folks, I'm not a massive fan of the shield design for the Humans in Oathmark but that is a very minor thing. There are LOTS of shields out there that can be used as alternatives.
