North Star Fire Up Pre-Orders For New Oathmark Orc Miniatures
July 7, 2022 by brennon
We've seen a few previews of the new Orc miniatures over the last month or so for Oathmark. Well, pre-orders are now live over on North Star Military Figures' webstore for Osprey Games' big mass battle Fantasy wargame.

Leading the way is a new set of metal characters that can be used throughout your force. Split over two packs you have a set of three Orc Champions (with a variety of weapons) alongside the Orc King, Wizard and Drummer.
These can then be used as the leaders for the new plastic kit of Orc Warriors which are also available this week.

There are thirty miniatures in this set allowing you to make one big unit of warriors or perhaps three smaller units armed with different weapons. Oathmark can actually be played with a reasonably low number of miniatures (although of course, it thrives with more) so it might be worth doing this just to get some starter games in!
If you're interested in the miniatures themselves, more creators have been working on them over the last while. Here are some from Artmaster Studio as an example.

I really like the Tolkienesque look of the Orcs from Oathmark. I think they give off a great traditional High Fantasy vibe, especially with their arms and armour.
One of the nice things about Oathmark is that you can mix and match your armies with warriors from different factions. So, even if you have a primarily Elven army you could still pick up these Orcs and use them in your force!
Are you going to be snapping these up individually or as part of one of their offers?

Those look really nice.
Ooh ugly elves now that’s a interesting edition to army’s.
Pretty good pic by me. This definitely has potential to customize with inspiration from 2nd ed. D&D handbooks.
These look really nice, really really nice.
