North Star Preview The Next Wave Of The Silver Bayonet Minis!
August 12, 2022 by brennon
The Silver Bayonet will soon be welcoming a new wave of miniatures, opening up the options for those that want to throw more unique miniatures into your warbands. See what North Star Military Figures has been working on.
British Grenadier // The Silver Bayonet
There is a nice mix of different characters for you to choose from that marry together the Historical elements of the Napoleonic period with the folklore and horror of The Silver Bayonet.
British Lady Hussar // The Silver Bayonet
I like that each of the miniatures features elements of their military past but then mixed in with the bits and pieces that they have tried to bring together whilst on the road hunting evil monsters. There is a good "bedraggled" feel to these miniatures which works well with the game's setting.
British Sailor - The Silver Bayonet
A fair few of these miniatures, at least from this initial preview, are based around the British but there is no real reason why you can't use them alongside other factions if you so desired. I like the idea of those fighting behind enemy lines against folklore foes and just picking up whatever is nearby to aid them and keep them warm!
French Lady Fusilier // The Silver Bayonet
One of the interesting miniatures they previewed was for the Army Deserter. I could imagine that a few of those that lead the way in The Silver Bayonet have gathered together plenty of Deserters with the promise of hot meals and shelter rather than a blindfold and a firing squad.
Army Deserter // The Silver Bayonet
These miniatures help to tell a nice story within your games which is always welcome. I think the naming prompts from North Star offer up interesting ideas when it comes to building your warbands. Do you want to make a band of deserters that are being forced into service by a bristling and serious general?
Are you going to snap these up when they get released?

Ooh I like those. I’ve only a vague idea to add Brits* so I’ll probs skip these. I’m hopeful they’ll take my money when more Spanish appear though.
* Probs French first, certainly finish the damn Spanish before anything
Through the deserters would make good militia in case anyone is wondering how I talk myself into buying more figures
Great looking figures I love the starchy seam look of the sailors galligaskins.
I like them! Can’t wait to see someone put some paint on the British Lady Hussar!
I really do wish they would make a plastic set like they have with stargrave and frostgrave.
