North Star Preview New 28mm Scavengers For Stargrave

North Star Military Figures showed off a brand new set of 28mm plastic miniatures coming to the world of Stargrave by Osprey Games and Joseph A. McCullough. The Scavengers are now prowling around the galaxy seeking to make off with whatever treasures they can find.

As you can see by the box, the set is going to come with enough components for you to make twenty Scavengers to use in your games. Clad in an assortment of armour and clothing that they have rightfully scavenged, they look like they could end up being either a deadly threat to your crew or helpful allies.
The first couple of previews that we've seen from North Star look pretty awesome and I like the mix of different clothes and accessories the set comes with. I think of all of the Stargrave plastic sets that we've seen so far, this has got to be the best. The mix of bitz looks like it could be a lot of fun to dive into.

As with all of the North Star kits, you can do some serious kitbashing with this. Mix this in with the existing Crew, Troopers, Mercenaries and more and you'll end up being able to make some unique crews for your games.
This set is coming soon but there is no hard release date just yet. I would say "watch this space" and keep an eye out for more as North Star are usually very good at showing off lots of details concerning their kits. I am eager to see the frames!

The Stargrave plastic kits have always been great, and being able to mix-&-match them makes them a no-brainer for anyone playing any scifi skirmish game. Great stuff.

Can’t wait to see the rest of the bits in the kit. The only thing missing body-wise, is a kneeling guy, i suck at converting :)!
I’m a recent convert to the Stargrave kits so am definitely looking forward to these.
Honestly, the kit bashing potential of these kits is so much fun…like how GWs kits used to be.
Another great looking stargrave kit, i look forward to the unboxing and getting my hands on a sprue!
I imagine these will go nicely with the upcoming Damned sets from Wargames Atlantic
