North Star Dig Through The Catacombs For A Skeletal Horde
March 28, 2016 by brennon
North Star are have been digging through their catacombs packed with metal and plastic and found themselves a Skeleton Horde from the olden days. We really should stop putting weapons in the graves of the dead if they're just planning on raising back up again...
This is a neat selection of models from times past which would work really well for those of you looking to expand upon the types of skeleton in your dungeons. They would also work for those of you wanting to add more undead to the ruins of Frostgrave.
Personally I like this Old Hammer style of skeleton with the range of oversized farm implements and leering visages.
What do you think?

These are looking quite good actually and nice variety with looks and poses as well.
10 metal minis for fourteen quid… 🙂
Nice stuff! Very characterful.
Random draw? Seriously?
These are lovely old-school and would be an ideal addition to my Mantic undead horde. But I still care about each miniature, and I would appreciate if Northstar could do so, as well.
At £14 for 10 of them, it’s not the end of the world to get a random selection, but it is a shame they don’t at least offer a ‘buy one of each’ set that you could guarantee you, well, one of each.
They look like brilliant, characterful scuplts.
Not fond of the knock-kneed look of some of them, but they are quite characterful. The price is definitely right!
They are nice , though £1.40 a figure us about the too end of my price range for metal figures
