Norsgard Tease New Models On The Way For 2017
January 29, 2017 by brennon
The world of Norsgard continues to impress with some new models being sculpted up as we stride further into 2017. Leading the way is this Orc Scout for the Templars.
This fellow is lighter armed and armoured compared to his other brothers but no less dangerous. I like the stance, with daggers raised ready to strike from the shadows. You can also see that he has spent a while out in the wilderness with his tattered cloak and hood.
We also got to see another preview of what lies ahead thanks to Irek Sielinski who has been sculpting for Norsgard. Here is the Persecutor Leader...
Rather epic and barbaric wouldn't you say? Again, I'm a big fan of cloaks and I love the look of this one here. The fur and tattered skins worked together into her mantle plus the skull headdress makes her look incredibly imposing.
The shield design is also awesome and you could imagine it being imbued with some magical power or other to protect her.
What do you think?

That Orc render is really very nice. Is the second one a render or not?? Regardless again a very nice figure. Know nothing about these blokes, I just went to their website and i notice they have many minis “out of stock”, Do they just do limited release for the individual minis, because while I have no use for him at the moment, that Orc scout has many potential uses down the track ….. hmmmm
I think both pics are renders. They’ve done a couple of kickstarters and the models have turned out great.
Their models aren’t limited releases, but are probably just waiting for a restock. I’m no expert, but it has to be cheaper to do a big restock than fill up piecemeal, surely? It’s probably that!
Yup, love the orc. I wish they would do a box set of them. The rest of their sets are amazing.
nice figures may make great hero’s for D&D type games.
My thought’s exactly
Awesome game with very good dice mechanics. It uses pools of D10’s you use and combat styles.
It’s roughly 5-7 guys per team.
Next week the new kickstarter launches I believe.
It is a damn good game, and those orcs are my favourite orcs!
Looking forward to the KS!
