Norman Warlords Lead The Way Against Saxon Warriors

Warlord Games has added a few new miniatures into the mix for those picking up Hail Caesar and playing games set during the Dark Age. First up we have these Norman Warlords.
Included with this release you'll find Bishop Odo, William Of Normandy and Turstin Fitzrolf. Now, I know about the first two but Turstin is new to me. He was, according to some searching, a trusted companion of William and fought alongside him during the Battle Of Hastings in 1066.
Saxon Foes
As well as these new characters for the Normans there are also some new units for those playing Anglo-Saxons. The first set is a band of Saxon Medium Cavalry.
Armed with spears and shields and mounted atop some hardy steeds they could prove to be a good shock troop to send into battle against your foes.
If you prefer to harass the flanks and bring down your enemies with a flurry of stones then there are also some Saxon Slingers too.
Sling bullets, cast by a skilled warrior, could be as dangerous as a bullet fired from a gun. With enough effort, they could puncture armour and cause serious damage to those that got caught in the open.
Which side will you be fighting for?

Those are really good.
Love the cavalry troops.
I think Turstin is credited with carrying Williams standard for him. These are really nice, it’s good to see that Colin has got the opportunity to continue with the sculpting now Warlord is doing the lifting with retail and distribution
Having Duke William already, I guess it’s time to put the Bishop and Turstin on my shopping list.
