New Wood Elves Awaken The Forests & Creatures On Kickstarter

The RBJ Game Company and Fortress Figures are on Kickstarter right now with a really nice set of 28mm Wood Elves for you to use in your Fantasy wargames on the tabletop.

The majority of the miniatures for this project come from the talented hand of Bobby Jackson. Guest sculptors then come in the form of Tom Mason who has worked on the Awakened Tree, Jason Wiebe who creatures the Baboon variant of Elanor, Glenn Hackmaster Harris who created the Squirrel and John Popson who finished off things with three Fairy Heroes.

The miniatures themselves come in metal but there will be a few elements that are designed in metal instead. There is a great variety of sculpts and character poses on show here that would make for an excellent Wood Elf warband on the tabletop.
You can see a couple of the painted figures here showing off the scale compared to other miniatures out there in the wild. They match up very nicely!

You can go for smaller or larger pledges as part of this Kickstarter as you might imagine. You can snap up just a few miniatures or pick up lots and lots of metal Wood Elves for making a larger force on the tabletop.

This one is quite a small Kickstarter but one that I think is doing a grand job with what they have on offer. The sculpts are great and come from a group of very talented individuals. The team behind this has also worked on all manner of projects in the past so they have quite a pedigree.

The only figure that doesn’t tickle my fancy is the treeman. The wood elves, on the other hand, will find a home with my large unpainted and ‘still boxed’ old school army.
Ooh their good looking figures with a fay hint to them.
