New Wars Of The Roses Supplement From Warlord Games
December 6, 2024 by brennon
Warlord Games are taking pre-orders for a new Hail Caesar supplement focused on The Wars Of The Roses. If you're looking to get stuck in and do some Medieval battling using these rules then you'll be lucky later this month.
The Wars Of The Roses // Warlord Games
This supplement covers the wars that ravaged England during the 15th Century. You'll be able to take on the role of Lancaster or York and fight to see if you can claim the throne. Additional rules within the book cover massed ranks of archers, the trudge of surly billmen and grim men-at-arms, all of which would have been staples of armies during The Wars Of The Roses.

As well as the new rules, you'll also find some new scenarios that allow you to play some of the big battles from the period. Tewkesbury, St Albans, Towton, and of course, Bosworth are in the mix as well as plenty of additional inspiration for painting and modelling your armies.
There is also a special miniature available alongside pre-orders from Warlord Games.
King Richard III // Warlord Games
This figure represents King Richard III. Clad in heavy armour and wielding his longsword, he is ready to stick it to his enemies. Maybe you can start charting a new course for history during this period or play out the events as they happened.
Are you going to be picking up this new supplement?

“Not Dick, but Richard”. – The Dead Milkmen
Why does he look like he just made a stinky in his armour?
That said, I’ll likely buy this supplement.
How many figs are needed for an army in this game?
LOTS. You’ll go insane just building them all. Forgot about the painting. You could be game ready by 2027?
Begs the question: why would anyone fight over roses….?
