New Warhammer Age Of Sigmar Starter Sets Revealed

With the new edition of Warhammer Age Of Sigmar now out in the world, a new set of three Starter Set options will be available from Games Workshop. There are options on the way for those just wanting to tie their toe and others who want to go all in but missed out on Skaventide.

The first of the boxed sets is the Introductory Set which gives you a handful of Stormcast Eternals and Skaven for you to get stuck into.

The Introductory Set comes with five Stormcast Eternals Liberators as well as twenty Skaven Clanrats. They are push-fit and you will also get a brush and six paints for you to start painting your miniatures. There is also a softback handbook which contains details on the lore of The Mortal Realms plus hobby guides and some scenarios to get you started with playing the game. You also get dice, a range ruler and a playing mat.

The second of the sets is the base Starter Set for Warhammer Age Of Sigmar.

This set comes with thirty-five miniatures including a Lord-Veritant, three Prosecutors, five Stormcast Eternals, a Grey Seer, Warlock Engineer, three Rat Ogors and twenty Skaven Clanrats. You also get a softback handbook alongside a series of tutorials covering the basics of gameplay. You will get dice, a double-sided gaming mat, two range rulers and two reference sheets for use in-game.

Lastly, you can get yourself the Ultimate Starter Set.

The Ultimate Starter Set contains a whole bunch of miniatures that make up the two Spearheads for the Stormcast Eternals and the Skaven. They are led by a Lord-Vigilant on Gryph-stalker and a deadly Clawlord on Gnaw-beast. You will get all of the contents you need to start playing Spearhead including the Fire & Jade book, a gaming mat with printed objectives, ten dice, plastic terrain, rules, Battle Tactics cards and Twist Decks. You miss out on some of the elements from Skaventide but it gives you a good way to play right out of the box.
