Games Workshop are going to be introducing a bunch of new warbands for Warhammer Age Of Sigmar Warcry this weekend. Pre-orders will be going live for a new set featuring two warbands plus you'll be able to get your hands on bonus Kruleboyz and Fyreslayers!

The first of the sets is the new Hunter And Hunted set which features The Wildercorps Hunters and the Ogor Gorgers. This set gives you everything that you need to play these two warbands in Warcry alongside a signature piece of terrain which then gets used in the scenarios presented in the Hunter And Hunted book.

The Wildercorps Hunters are some awesome new Freeguild miniatures for the Cities Of Sigmar that I could see working their way into Mordheim warbands in the future too. The Ogor Gorgers are an awesome upgrade to the miniature from Warhammer Fantasy Battles and they feel very in step with the monstrous creatures of The Mortal Realms. It'll be interesting to see if the rest of the Ogor range gets as much of an upgrade later down the line.

Monster Hunters & Slayers

As well as the new set above, you can also get your hands on two separate Warcry warbands. The first of these is the monster-hunting Kruleboyz Monsta-killaz.

The Monsta-killaz pride themselves on taking on some of the biggest and baddest beasts in the wilderness of Ghur. They come adorned in all manner of skulls and pelts from the foes they have killed and you've got plenty of fun miniatures in the set carting off their grisly prizes. I really like the Grot with the egg that has been pilfered from a nest and the big bad leader, covered in trophies.

Another of the new Warcry warbands is the Vulkyn Flameseekers who take the Fyreslayers to another level. We've seen a lot of these half-naked killers all looking rather similar. I think this updated look for them is a whole lot better and it's nice seeing the care and attention going into the design of their arms and armour.

These warriors are one with the mighty Magmadroths that they fight alongside in bigger battles. Tasked with reclaiming the eggs of these beasts and then bringing them back to the Lodge to be nurtured, they have as mighty a task as the other Fyreslayers seeking out the Ur-Gold of their shattered god. A solid set of miniatures for dropping into your Warcry games.
