Games Workshop previewed another new 28mm miniature coming to the Middle-earth Strategy Battle Game later this year alongside the rest of the War Of The Rohirrim collection. This time, we have Freca who has dreams of power.

Freca Lord Of The West-March - Middle-earth Strategy Battle Game

Freca, Lord Of The West-March // Middle-earth Strategy Battle Game

Freca, titled Lord Of The West-March, is looking to cement his power and secure the throne of Rohan for his son Wulf. He is a cruel and deadly man with ambition running through his veins. I think you get a sense of that from the miniature with fist raised, snarling at his underlings to do his bidding.

Freca will be a Forge World resin miniature coming out alongside the rest of the War Of The Rohirrim collection and should be neat to see going up against Helm and his kin on the tabletop.

The rules for Freca match up to his nature. He can draw on his Dunlending Heritage in order to inspire those around him to fight harder against the men and women of Rohan.

He also has Claim The Throne which is a fascinating passive which allows Freca to act as a banner to Dunland warriors around him once the enemy general has been dragged down. I like that Freca doesn't have to land the killing blow either. Very thematic.

Are you going to be siding with the Dunlendings when the new War Of The Rohirrim set comes out?
