New Victims Step Into Betrayal At House On The Hill In Upcoming Upgrade Set

WizKids have announced that a new upgrade set is on its way for the board game Betrayal At House On The Hill, bringing all new characters (and potential traitors) to the mysterious mansion.
This upgrade set adds six pre-assembled, double sided character cards to the game, along with a set of eight custom six-sided dice.
This gives you twelve more characters to choose from when setting out to explore.
Best of all, these new character cards feature in-built dials for keeping track of your stats.
This is fantastic to see, as the original slider components were very fiddly and prone to get dislodged whenever someone knocks the table.
Betrayal At House On The Hill may well be one of my favourite board games. The introduction of attached dials is a big relief, making set up and play easier, and the new characters provide us with even more options for taking down the traitor.
Which character would you choose?

At some point, one of you will “trigger the Haunt.” Once you hit that, you get a random plot (think Horror film tropes). The rules determine that one player is “the traitor” and the game is now that player vs. everyone else. Each… Read more »
That sounds like an interesting fun game.
Yeah, it’s fun, fairly light, and has some neat surprises. I think that there is a version that features Baldur’s Gate characters now.
An upgrade for your existing characters, not additional/extra investigators or traitors… but, if the price is right, those character cards would be much better than the current ones where the pins all get loose…
Yeah- the old character cards weren’t very good. These will replace them quite nicely.
