New Vampires & Visions Of Heaven For TTCombat’s Carnevale
March 18, 2024 by brennon
TTCombat have added two new sets to their 32mm miniatures game, Carnevale. You'll be able to drain the blood from your foes and call on the power of the heavens with these new sets.
Wallachian Warhost // Carnevale
The first set is the Wallachian Warhost, a complete gang for use with the Strigoi. The Hospodar leads the way, decked out in ornate armour and using a finely crafted longsword. A great stalwart for you to have as part of your gang and a good way for you to bring down fearsome leaders too.

The Hospodar is backed up by the Spatar who is the holder of the royal sword. She is a deadly duellist and not only brings that sword with her but also the mace to smash down her foes. You can also call on the Wallachian Impaler (the dude with the big stick). For every one of his victims he kills, he becomes more frightening a foe, feeding off his bloodlust. Last but not least are the Targoveti who are the regular foot soldiers fighting in Vlad's armies across Europe. Whilst not vampires, these human soldiers are still a force to be reckoned with.
A really nice set of miniatures, expanding on the options for the Strigoi and strengthening the vampire chokehold on the city of Venice.
Vatican Support
If you're someone who would prefer to see those vampires burn then how about the Visions Of Heaven set for the Vatican?
Visions Of Heaven // Carnevale
The Visions Of Heaven set comes with an awesome Summoner Priest who can call on the spirits of the dead and bind them into constructs. Even in the afterlife, the souls of those who have gone before can be holy warriors, aiding God in smiting the unclean from the streets of Venice!
Visions Of Heaven Miniatures // Carnevale
The Seraph is the protector of the skies and a sign of the corruption that has befallen Venice. Still, the remains of the statue will destroy anyone that gets in their way, crushing the foes of the Vatican. As well as the Seraph, you also have the Golgotha which is a walking monolith of marble and stone. I think this one would be particularly fun to paint, especially with the mix of stone textures and metallic elements.
Last but not least, the set comes with two sets of wraiths representing the Celestial Spirits. These are bound to the Summoner Priest and could be good for protecting him whilst your other constructs rampage around the canals.
Could you be tempted by these sets for use in your Carnevale gangs?

Look @brennon even more guard models! 😉
They have tempted me!
I do like those vampires. I have a few of the other sets some even painted. I do like the Eastern European look to the guards. I have some Russian infanty in plastic that would work with these.
