Grey For Now Games has revealed plans for a new expansion to Test Of Honour, their awesome Samurai game. Sengoku is scheduled for release this Autumn.
Test Of Honour Sengoku Expansion // Grey For Now Games
As part of this expansion, you'll be focusing in on battles, alliances and betrayals between the clans during the Sengoku period. Not only will you have access to new clan abilities but also ways to ally with the right faction in order to come out on top.
There will be rules and historical accounts included for the twelve most famous Japanese clans of the time plus new scenarios, weapons and additional material. This sounds like a great way to dive deeper into the world of Feudal Japan and fight for your honour on the battlefield.
New Test Of Honour Miniatures On The Horizon
As well as the news about the expansion, Grey For Now Games also talked about some new miniatures in development. Some miniatures are off to the casters and a few others are in development like some new Ashigaru.

It is very, very hard to stop myself diving in and picking up some Samurai miniatures to paint up for the battlefield. Test Of Honour was a lot of fun when I played it a few years back and from all reports, it has just got better since then. With Ghost Of Tsushima making everyone feel very Samurai right now on the digital front it would be cool to dive in and paint up a few characters perhaps from this period.
Are you a big fan of Test Of Honour?

The figures and the terrain for this game look fabulous.
I’ll pick this up. I’m a huge fan of the artwork for this iteration of the game. It’s probably some of the most evocative of the theme out there.
This game is the first skirmish game that make me feel I am playing a Kurosawa movie. I have loved the game since the original core box and the video game ‘Ghost of Tsushima’ have motivated me to go back to painting and modeling the myriads pieces I ahve for the game. I can’t wait to see all this new , cool , and exciting additions for Test of Honour. Sounds amazing!
