New Skaven Warlock Engineer Headshots Age Of Sigmar Heroes

Games Workshop has been previewing more for the new edition of Warhammer Age Of Sigmar. The most recent preview has been for one of the reworked and revamped Warlock Engineers. If you're a Skaven player then this is going to be one of your key characters taking potshots from the back ranks.

The new Skaven Warlock Engineer doesn't quite match up with some of the older ideas of the Warlock Engineer in ranges past. We often see crackpot inventors and spellcasters who lash themselves to the various piles of warpstone that they ingest with hilarious and powerful results. This fellow seems a lot more measured and militaristic compared to past iterations. That's cool but I sort of miss the old Warlock Engineers who are bristling with energy and covered in all sorts of strange inventions.
This fellow takes on the role of a sniper and hangs out with your Jezzails. The warplock musket that this fellow uses can smash through the armour of foes and you can perhaps pick out enemy characters at the same time thanks to his special rules.

I like that some portion of the crackpot engineer elements are still there in the rules. More-More Warp Energy seems like it's going to be good fun when your Engineer explodes because he has poorly tinkered with his warplock musket. His Sniper Master ability also allows him to avoid the classic Look Out Sir! rule which has been renamed Guarded Hero.
As well as the new miniature preview for the Skaven Warlock Engineer, there have also been some neat previews covering the use of Magic and Prayers in the new edition. Plus, if you want to explore the Combat Phase then there is a big breakdown of how that works too.
Are you going to be diving in and choosing the Skaven for the new edition of Warhammer Age Of Sigmar?

Needs a Lloyd shot but have they dialed down the detail compared to recent releases? (Said in hope, not as a gripe.)
