Try Out New Rules For Burrows & Badgers In Oathsworn’s Journal
January 27, 2021 by brennon
Oathsworn Miniatures haven't been able to launch the Kickstarter that they wanted to for Burrows & Badgers yet but in place of that, they have released their first Oathsworn Journal!
The Oathsworn Journal // Oathsworn Miniatures
Within the Oathsworn Journal, which is free to download HERE, you'll find a series of new rules and scenarios for you to use with Burrows & Badgers. There is a section on fighting underground plus a scenario where you hunt down a mole messenger!
As well as that, you'll also find an entirely new game for you to test out called Furball! If you wondered what sport the creatures of Burrows & Badgers play then now you're enlightened!
Furball Rules // Oathsworn Miniatures
These rules are still in development but they give you a good excuse to try your hand at a different style of game using your Burrows & Badgers miniatures. We already have one model which is perfect for the game but it would be fun to see more of his teammates pop up!
In addition to gaming articles, there is also a section on building your own Haunted Burrow for use in your games as a spooky objective.
Haunted Barrow Tutorial // Oathsworn Miniatures
This goes through all of the ins and outs of building this piece of terrain. You could easily do this at home, maybe as part of a project right here at OnTableTop? Finishing things off for issue one, Oathsworn has also included a table of secondary objectives to spice up your games. I always like these, especially in skirmish games, as they make you move away from tried and tested tactics.
As an added bonus, there are also two competitions you can enter to maybe get your hands on some miniatures!
Are you going to be downloading this and giving it a read?

Download yes, read maybe. But as the question arose yesterday: @brennon what would you say if, and think carefully on this, if Dwarves would be added to B&B?
Moles/Badgers are basically animal-based Dwarves so I’m sorted already.
Just look at the Mole Blacksmith: tunnels and carries a huge hammer.
Ooh new B & B rules of only they had someone that liked the game to give a good well balanced review?
