New Resin Sets For Blood & Plunder Pirates, Privateers & More
February 28, 2024 by brennon
A whole bunch of new sets have been made available in resin for the Historical wargame, Blood & Plunder. Firelock Games are offering up new ways for you to dive into the Unaligned Nationalities plus the Pirates And Privateers that are raiding around the Caribbean.
Unaligned Nationality Starter Set // Blood & Plunder
This Unaligned Nationality Starter Set allows you to make a band of twenty-five Brethren Of The Coast or Logwood Cutters. The Brethren Of The Coast are made up of all nations, races and ethnicities with a focus on making sure the Spanis have a very bad time of it. These sailors, all looking for a scrap, come armed with flintlock muskets, pistols and cutlass. The perfect weapons for a daring privateer.
Unaligned Nationality Starter Set - Miniatures // Blood & Plunder
The Logwood Cutters are rough labourers who make up the gaps in their pay by doing a bit of treasure hunting and buccaneering on the side. They are a good band of men to have on side in a pinch. You could hire them as mercenaries to help you if you need to give someone a bloody nose or head off on a new naval expedition.
If you're looking to throw your lot in with a band of cutthroat Pirates And Privateers then there is also a Starter Set (now in resin) for you.
Pirates & Privateers Starter Set // Blood & Plunder
This set contains twenty-five miniatures in resin allowing you to build Spanish, English, French, Dutch or Unaligned pirates or privateers and perhaps even naval or militia coast guard forces. You have a lot of options with this set of seamen.
Pirates & Privateers Starter Set - Miniatures // Blood & Plunder
This set comes with eight European Sailors, eight European Sailor Musketeers, four Sailor Weapon Upgrades and four Cannon Crew for manning the big guns. You also get the Reformado Commander to lead the way and all associated unit and faction cards.
All of these miniatures are in resin (although you can also get them in metal if you prefer) and are available as separate sets over on the New Releases section of the Firelock Games webstore. If you've already got some pirates in your collection then maybe this could be a good way to plug the gaps.
Roll Out The Guns
As well as the new starter options in resin, you can also now get some great guns in the same material. You can now get the Field Guns and Heavy Cannons to use on board a ship or in your local fort.

Heavy Cannons // Blood & Plunder
The cannons look awesome and very well-detailed. The Field Guns set contains six artillery pieces whilst the Heavy Cannons is simply two options. Will you be snapping up these new resin miniatures from Firelock Games for Blood & Plunder?
