New Red Brigade Teasers For Westfalia’s Trench Crusade Project

Westfalia Miniatures previewed a few new miniatures that will be coming to their Trench Crusade Kickstarter in January 2025. The Red Brigade is growing in numbers and we've got some heavy infantry to call on coming soon!

This was their recently teased Heavy Mechanised Infantry miniature that will become part of the Kickstarter campaign next year. It gets across so much of what is awesome about Trench Crusade's aesthetic and that excellent mix of the Medieval and World War I/II.

The big, bulky awesome is awesome and then you get some serious "Dark Souls Bad Guy" vibes from the style of the helmet and the gorget. The cloak is a good addition to the back of the miniature (make sure to cover that hem in mud!) and then you've got the belching power unit sticking out of the top.

This is just one of thirty new miniatures that Westfalia and the team are working on for Trench Crusade and The Red Brigade.

Here's some background on The Red Brigade and how they fit into the wider Trench Crusade world...

"The Red Brigade is made of volunteers who have lost someone close to them in the battles of the Great War. The unit was founded by St. Ernest, the sole survivor of the second battle of Acre; where he lost his brother Wilhelm to the forces of the Heresiarch Berenguer."

It's a great base for you to build on when it comes to crafting your warband for Trench Crusade that's for sure. As well as the miniatures, Westfalia are also working on a zine-style set of rules and a small campaign that you can use alongside the main rules for Trench Crusade.
