New Necromunda Gunners Lock & Load For House Orlock
January 13, 2021 by brennon
House Orlock were the focus of another preview from Games Workshop this week. Some badass new options are going to be dropping soon for fans of Necromunda in the form of some Gunners and a Road Sergeant to get them in line.

The heart of the new update revolves around the Gunners who are going to be stepping up and dealing out some serious damage on the tabletop. These rebellious additions to your Orlock gang rely on classic weapons like the autogun due to its reliability.
Some Gunners also like getting up close and personal and there will also be options for Gunners who embrace that too. Here we have one armed with a chainsword and stub gun.

These new options for House Orlock are looking very cool indeed and it will be fun to see folks starting to add them into the mix when building up their gang roster. These are some seriously hench-looking ladies who are going to kick some serious ass on the tabletop.
A Ruthless Road Sergeant
As well as the Gunners we've also got the Road Sergeant here who is ready to bring some serious firepower into the mix.

This lady has clearly seen some heavy stuff during her time in the Underhive with the burns across her face and the small matter of the missing limbs. This has meant that she can get some hefty bionics fitted allowing her to bring a heavy bolter to the tabletop.
Most Gangers will be familiar with running about under a hail of heavy stubber bullets but I doubt they've experienced getting shot by a heavy bolter that often! Another ace miniature for those who want to bring the badass to their House Orlock gang.
Are you liking these new alternative options for House Orlock?

Ooh they look good an could be great additions as gun crew’s in the guard.
That first gunner reminds me a lot of Cara Dune 😉
Still can’t unsee that first mini with the well weird neck 🙁
Got a feeling that these will be priced similar to the recent Forge World Esher Gangers at £19 a pop. Just a little too expensive for a normal 28mm mini in my book (well I say little……)
Those some are good looking miniatures.
It looks like GW’s shift toward dumpy looking females wasn’t just a passing Sisters thing. I guess the community did it to themselves, complaining a while back that GW’s female mini’s were sexualized… so this is what we get. I’d stick with Raging Heroes for this type of mini; there’s nothing wrong with an attractive female figure.
That’s what happens when a company takes design cues from whiny people that don’t even buy their products and just want to ruin it for everyone else. I’m right with you- Raging Heroes shows that a woman can be attractive AND kick ass!
Aren’t you guys whining right now. Ha ha ha lololololol.
Really happy with these additions. They can join my Orlock pile of shame!
Long live the pile of shame!!!!
Nothing that couldn’t be converted from the main box and some third party bits. Forge World minis should be more unique and extravagant to justify the price.
I really liked these miniatures – until I realised they were women. I really liked them because they had this sort of boy-ish look to them that the Orlocks have always had and which fits the gang really well. They are sort of the ‘pretty boys’ of the underhive. And I really loved that they had taken that look further… I especially like(d) the first gunner with the Autogun. Now, it turns out they are actually women. I really enjoy having female miniatures on the table in all shapes and sizes. But I just thought it would have been cooler… Read more »
If you look closely at the mini, she has a robotic arm. Still might be a little much for a human, but makes it a little more plausible.
yeah i did see that @ghostgundam1. but that was actually not so much the point. It is just that her gun seems to weigh more than her so her body should be shifted to not fall over. Purely physics and gravity…
Putting out minis like this would be death for any company but an industry giant.
Really like all of these. Guess it’ll come down to what Forgeworld charge for them whether I’ll get them, but I think they’re some of the nice models to come out for the range recently.
