New Furiann Archers Go Hunting With Raging Heroes
March 5, 2020 by brennon
Raging Heroes has been looking at a new Furiann release to build on their Fantasy range. Here we have a band of savage-looking Archers who are seeking out their prey throughout the wastelands.
This particular set comes with all manner of different characters that you can use to build a dynamic looking warband on the tabletop. There are ten miniatures within the group, some of them as Command figures and others as regular Troops. However, in saying that, each of the models is so packed with character that they could work as leaders in their own right.
The more dynamic nature of this group seems like they'd be great for smaller-scale games where they can shine. I love the idea of putting together a warband for the likes of Warcry where these Archers are leaping off walls and rushing across the wasteland as they hunt down their prey.
Each of the miniatures has been produced in resin and they work nicely alongside existing 28/32mm ranges that are out there on the market.
Something I really like about this collection and the Furianns, in general, is that they look like Fantasy versions of House Escher from Necromunda. I think its the really over-the-top punk hair that does it but it does invite you to get stuck in with some wild colours.
So, are you considering picking up some of these new Furiann Archers from Raging Heroes?

The posing is a bit over the top for gaming IMHO. But could work on dioramas.
That’s pretty much the entire point of the Furiann line. So in that regards, its a grand slam.
