Steamforged Games Go All Chibi In Guild Ball
August 19, 2017 by thisisazrael
Steamforged Games have some new Chibi Guild Ball miniatures available for pre-order on their site.
Rough Riders Miniatures though have been first to show off just how cool this model can look with their version of Salt from The Fishermen.
This wee guy is just so awesome, though not sure how I feel with Salt looking like he's mid "dab".
Below you can see Chibi versions of Shark and Ox minis you can pre-order now.
What do you think of Chibi Guild Ball?

I wonder if they can be used in tournament play.
I don’t see why not …. if base is same size
Chibi Ox still looks the goods. Ox is the man
Maybe people will start painting them more colorfully, rather than the almost monochromatic, dark palette everyone uses atm. Team colors are just that ..colors.
Actually I really agree with this sentiment (and No ..not just because my Butcher’s team is still bright red from the spray can) Even if you are going with a “traditional Medieval Pallette” (read brown) there is no reason that the team’s colour shouldn’t be bright and eye catching to tell the teams apart.
A complete chibi team probably would cause cuteness overload …
Is that meant to sound like a bad thing?
Love them!!!!
This will get me into the game.
I’d wouldnt want to spend money on these, as long as the whole game dosent have that look..
Personally they are not for me, but then again I am not really into this style there is something rather disturbing about the whole chibi idea, it’s one of those Japanese exports that is just weird.
