The Devastation Of Tallarn takes place across the brutal deserts of Tallarn and the clash for the Sapphire City. The Iron Warriors are rolling into battle for a brutal clash between the Loyalists and the Traitors. The book contains rules for running campaigns in Legions Imperialis. You can choose from both the Warfront Campaign or the Breakthrough Campaign which is all about turning strongholds into dust or protecting them from assault.

There is also the Northern Desolation campaign which allows you to play out a narrative linked to the actual events on Tallarn. There are also new rules for Fog Of War which throw new spanners into the machine!
There are also going to be new ways to play with both your Legiones Astartes and Solar Auxilia on the tabletop.
New Legiones Astartes Tanks // The Horus Heresy: Legions Imperialis
You can run the likes of the Legion Subterranean Assault or the Solar Auxilia Titan Hunter Company. More units are also on the way for both your stalwart human forces and those who prefer their superhuman soldiers.

By all accounts, Legions Imperialis is a decent game and many people have been having fun with it. It seems a bit of a shame that the game doesn't seem quite as well supported as others in the Games Workshop range but more and more miniatures have been popping up over the last few weeks and months to help fill in the gaps.
Are you going to be getting this new expansion book?
