This set has been designed to help you get your BattleTech miniatures done quickly whilst also looking fantastic. It makes use of renamed Warpaints Fanatic paints and the superb Speedpaints 2.0 range from The Army Painter, all tied to the different colours you'd need to bring your Mercenaries and more to life.
If you're looking to take your BattleTech games from a straight out-of-the-box experience and turn them into a bigger hobby project, this is probably a set worth taking a look at. The Warpaints Fanatic range is great for beginners and veterans because they have solid coverage without repeat layers. Their high pigment formula is going to really make some mechs pop.

Combine that with the Speedpaints and you've got a good set of core paints for working your way through a lot of different mechs. Judging by the looks this time their paint set is the same bottle size as the regular paints. The Star Wars Legion and AD&D (?) sets had smaller bottles. Looks like a good starting point.
