New Aztecs Sighted In The Jungles Of Wargames Atlantic

Some early looks at the Aztecs from Wargames Atlantic popped up over the weekend for those eager to dive into more Historical clashes on the tabletop. They would obviously be the perfect foe to set against the Conquistadors that we saw last week.

These are previews from early 3D Prints so the final look of the miniatures is going to change as they move towards the hard plastic set. Still, I think they are looking good and you can already see they have quite the array of options for you to play around with.

You've got plenty of classic weapons of the Aztecs in the mix there and an array of armour designs which are going to be a lot of fun to paint. Christian Lemmen is doing a good job on the painting side of things for the box art. I am eager to see if the folks at Wargames Atlantic sneak anything else onto these sprues which is a little bit weird!

What's Next?

As well as the Aztecs, the folks at Wargames Atlantic also talked about what else is coming soon. World War I/II French, Cannon Fodder and Goblins will be finished very soon. The Panzer Lehr are entering the tooling stage soon with the Aztecs and Goths moving towards the layout stage.

Conquistadors are still going well with more secret stuff appearing on their sprues. There is also an as-yet announced late 19th Century set coming up soon too. The Boxer Rebellion and Afghan Cavalry are also finishing up their frame layout stage!

As if that wasn't enough there are three new 20th Century sets that are in the process of being designed too. I don't think Wargames Atlantic has stopped since they launched a few years ago.

What are you looking forward to the most?
