You can now pre-order the 28mm American Civil War infantry sets from Warlord Games for use in your games of Black Powder. There are two sets of infantry for you to choose from as well as an artillery battery that is going to be sending shot blasting around churned-up battlefields.
American Civil War Infantry - Firing Line // Black Powder
Because both sides in the American Civil War weren't particularly different when it came to their weapons and kit, Warlord has produced two sets which you can use to represent both the Union and the Confederates on the tabletop. The real defining feature of these regiments ends up being how you paint the uniforms and what flags you march into battle under.
The first of the sets is a Firing Line which features soldiers lifting their rifles and getting ready to take shots at their foes. The back rank is then reloading the rifles, ready to step forward. All of the miniatures are Warlord Resin and come with the required flag sheets and such to help define each side.
The second set features the Advancing Line which shows the soldiers marching into battle, perhaps with a little ditty being played out on the drums.

Both of these sets are available individually or you can get them as part of bundles over on the Warlord Games webstore. These bundles, which come in different sizes, come with exclusive Infantry Commanders which you can use to slot into your armies.
Last but not least, there is the Artillery Battery which is a set of three cannons.

Again, this set can be used to represent both Union and Confederate artillery on the tabletop. These are also Warlord Resin miniatures with both guns and four crew each. There are a variety of different gun barrel options based on the weapons used at the time.
Could you be tempted to snap up these new sets from Warlord Games to help build the core of your new Union or Confederate army?

Really ugly and disproportionate figures. Schwing and a big miss.
They look a bit like someone has tried to make plastic sculpts look like metal sculpts, dunno why but they look a little off
