Mythic Americas Inca Army Get New Core Troops From Warlord
July 12, 2021 by brennon
Warlord Games has added new pre-orders into the mix for those wanting to add to their Inca armies in 28mm Fantasy/Historical wargame, Mythic Americas. New characters and troops are in the mix alongside a few pieces of terrain too.
Inca Sapa Warlord // Mythic Americas
We lead with a new Inca Sapa Warlord. This leader figure comes well-armed and well armoured for the coming conflict. Your warband needs a Sapa Warlord to lead them so this is an inexpensive choice when considered on foot. He also comes with two Cuzco Warrior bodyguards which are unique to this set and give your Warlord some aid when the fighting gets heated.
Talking of Cuzco Warriors, you can also now pre-order a set armed with Macana.
Inca Cuzco Warriors With Macana // Mythic Americas
This gives you a solid and dependable unit of warriors to sit at the heart of your army. Cuzco are able to form up into the shieldwall formation in game making them very handy when trying to hold down a particular section of the battlefield. This set also replaces their spears with Macana, those dangerous-looking maces. You can upgrade to these if you prefer at no extra cost when building your army.
Finally, we also have the terrain that was mentioned at the beginning. You can pre-order these Pre-Columbian Idols to help shape your battlefield.
Pre-Columbian Idols // Mythic Americas
A jungle looks like a jungle and could well be anywhere when you just use fauna. But, drop a few of these into the mix and suddenly you're transported to Central and South America. They could be used as scenario objectives or just as decoration to help keep you in locked into the theme.
As we've mentioned in previous articles about Mythic Americas. A fair amount of this can be used to play out Historical battles with your friends. If you want to get fantastical then you simply throw in a few of the monsters and you're good to go!
Are you going to be adding to your Inca army?

Pretty nice looking minis.
I’m sort of curious about mythic americas, I’ve not really heard anyone talk about it much, is it popular? Warlord certainly seem to be churning out new minis for it pretty frequently.
Looks to mostly be a metal range which is great, but some seem to be warlord “resin” which puts me off.
I’m tempted myself but more in the expectation of owning some neat Inca minis than ever getting a game. I assume it’s compatible with Warlords of Erehwon so that should make it a bit less niche.
Really I’m add much in the dark as you ?
Ooh fantastic new figures.
Those look really nice.
