Mounted Squires Join The Hundred Kingdoms Of Conquest
January 14, 2022 by brennon
The Hundred Kingdoms are getting themselves some more 35mm miniatures from Para Bellum Wargames for use on the battlefields of Conquest: The Last Argument Of Kings. A set of Mounted Squires are charging into battle with pre-orders now live...

These Squires fight under the noble houses and serve under those wealthy warriors who can afford proper arms and armour. They are still a well-trained and dedicated set of soldiers that will give their all on the tabletop.
Mounted Squire // Conquest
If they are able to avoid death at the hands of The Spires or the Dweghom on the battlefield then they could turn their training towards becoming full knights. This set offers up a slightly cheaper Cavalry Regiment option for The Hundred Kingdoms that could swoop down the flanks of your enemy's army.
Mounted Squire // Conquest
This set comes with three different riders who all look rather nice indeed. I like the detail worked into their kit, armour and weapons. The horses also look spot on too. I really like the poses and the sculpting of them. They don't look awkward or weird as some horses tend to.

These miniatures, whilst obviously a good choice for The Last Argument Of Kings, would also work well for smaller games in First Blood as well. I like the idea of a light scouting force from The Hundred Kingdoms taking to the roads and coming a cropper of some travelling Nords.
Are you going to be snapping these up for The Hundred Kingdoms?

Ooh yeah fantastic new figures for game’s.
Those stirrups are just terrible… Such a lackluster.
Some very weird decisions made when engineering this steel mold. Flat stirrups, bridle and bit with no reins, chainmail with links big enough to stick a sword through. The end result is just strange.
Looking good
Those are really nice.
ParaBellum models are a bit too hit and miss for me. These are okay, even if some elements are basic. The price though is steep for what they are and how many you get.
