Mounted Civil War Soldiers Coming Soon For Bloody Miniatures
July 16, 2024 by brennon
Bloody Miniatures is showing off their new range of mounted figures for use in your 28mm English Civil War wargames. We start off with a set of commanders, These Our Captains, who could be personalities from the period.
These Our Captains // Bloody Miniatures
The These Our Captains pack comes with three command figures for you to use as historical characters from the period like Cromwell, Fairfax, Hopton and Waller. You could also use them as your own characters, created to lead the way in battle with their own stories that you've come up with. They are generic enough that they should fit the period.
As well as These Our Captains, you can also get The Gentlemen At Arms.
The Gentlemen At Arms // Bloody Miniatures
This is a mounted command set that can be used to lead the way alongside some of the other cavalry from Bloody Miniatures. You get an Officer in three-quarter armour and with a dashing feathered hat. You then have his followers including a trumpeter with a rather nice lace-trimmed coat. A great set of minor characters for you to add into your games.
Last but not least we have The Bold Dragooners who are getting their guns ready to take pot shots.
The Bold Dragooners // Bloody Miniatures
These are your classic mounted Dragoons in their short coats with broad-brimmed hats and long gaiters. They also have bandoliers and firelock muskets at the ready. They are posed in different ways with some riding into position, others watching out for enemies and one taking a shot. I like that the horse for that last fellow is just munching on some grass and minding its own business.
All of these miniatures should be coming out around the middle of August so you've not got long to wait.
Will you be picking up these mounted packs?
