Defend Fallen Mortal Gods Casualties With Footsore
June 11, 2019 by brennon
Footsore Miniatures has added a few new sets to their webstore for use in Mortal Gods. In battle, warriors fall, and so they have designed two sets which offer up Casualties to use as objectives and markers for other conditions too.
There are two new sets. The first of these is the Hoplite Casualties kit which comes with armoured warriors, nursing their wounds. You should clearly be painting these up to match the forces of your regular opponents.
As well as that you've also got a set for your Skirmisher Casualties too.
Once again, paint these up to either match your opponent's force or your own and you've immediately got some awesome miniatures which help tell more of a narrative surrounding your battle.
Skirmish games, more so than larger pitched battles I think, allow you to tell a great story on the tabletop with individual heroes standing out amongst the chaos. You're sure to have plenty of heroic last stands and these sets help show that off.
Are you getting stuck into Mortal Gods?

Very nice.
They all look like they’ve eaten something wrong…. If they are casualties then where is the blood? WHERE IS IT?! XD
Haha! Now I can’t unsee that. They could’ve called this set “bad batch of feta cheese”.
“Revenge of the chef”
“Laxatives strike back”
or
“school canteen”
Cool wee minis. Always good to see casuality minis pop up I’m not brave enough to buy a set of minis then slice and dice them up to make casualties
