A lot of folks are getting stuck into games like Tales From The Loop which send you back to the 80s to deal with all sorts of weird and wonderful scenarios. Well, Morgue Miniatures has produced a range of characters on Kickstarter that are good for those looking to toss models into the mix too.

80s Kids - Morgue Miniatures

The range of kids has been crafted from white metal and designed to fit a lot of the archetypes that you might expect from the time period. I'm already thinking of ways to drop these kids into some homebrew Walking Dead scenarios, using the rules to play out their adventures.

Lucas - Morgue Miniatures

The detail on the figures is pretty awesome and you can certainly see some of the influences from the likes of Stranger Things here too.

Dora - Morgue Miniatures

You could probably get to customising these models as well if you liked, adding on a few bits and pieces there to make them suit the players you have around the table. I think it would be a fun gift to have your players each getting a character of their very own, styled after them, to play games with.

Witney - Morgue Miniatures

This project is a quick and easy one from Morgue Miniatures and they have around fifteen days left on their campaign. If you're playing games like Tales From The Loop, 7TV, The Walking Dead: All Out War or maybe something else this gives you a great starting point for enhancing your experience.

I love the idea of using these kids in a game of Dungeons & Dragons. You have the players playing as these kids when you start the game before then warping things and having them (cartoon series style) transported into a Fantasy world where you change things up and maybe use the Wardlings line to continue their story.

You could then switch back and forth between the real world and their Fantasy world and perhaps have it that sometimes the worlds bleed together!

What do you think of the range?
