Monstrous Trolls Stomp Into Oathmark Soon From North Star

Oathmark is soon to be graced by some monstrous Fantasy Trolls from the folks at North Star Military Figures soon. Michael Anderson has sculpted these up (and another one), summoned from their caves, to do battle for their chosen kingdom.

These Trolls match the classic look I envision when I think of these mythical creatures. Big, lumbering creatures with hair coming out of strange places. Match that with mouths too full of teeth and you've got some neat trolls that could be painted up in blues, greens or perhaps grey. I think the natural look works best with Trolls.
Here you can see how they compare to regular 28mm miniatures. Also, because there are three of them (the third coming soon) I am thinking we need to do something Middle-earthy with this lot!

With the addition of the Dwarf Light Infantry to Oathmark recently and some Halflings available over on North Star, these three Trolls wouldn't look out of place around a fire. The scenario writes itself I think.

Great looking trolls. Like all Oathmark models, they are more realistic looking (not ‘high fantasy’ like AOS)- and that tickles all the right places. I might get the pair for ‘The Silver Bayonet’. You can use trolls in that game and these look like they fit in really well.

Although if these are plastic …
I have some of the Ogre’s from the Rangers of shadow deep range and they are resin. I wouldn’t be surprised if these are too
I’ve no shortage of trolls but I’d likely look hard at these lads in resin.

Those look really good.
These are already on my list for Frostgrave, to be painted up blue. They have great noses which is a necessity for trolls IMO.
They’re a vast improvement on the Frostgrave trolls. I used Warploque ones (also painted blue ?)
Yeah, I have one of the Frostgrave troll but he’s too small, more like large human size. These Oathmark ones look more like it.
I’ve just looked at the Warploque site, those minis looks amazing. Going to spend some time there I think.

I’m thinking these are metal… i’m not a big fan of big monster minis, espacially if there multi-part… if there one-piece, i too think they would look great for Frostgrave!
