Monster Fight Club Preview Cyberpunk Red: Combat Zone Game
December 15, 2020 by brennon
If you're looking to actually play in the world of Cyberpunk but you can't quite get past all the bugs that currently exist in the video game then how about a tabletop variant? Monster Fight Club has previewed a quick peek at Cyberpunk Red: Combat Zone where you can get stuck into skirmish combat within the streets of Night City.
Cyberpunk Red: Combat Zone // Monster Fight Club
The streets are abuzz with rival gangs and more trying to fight for control of the streets and that's where you come in. Combat Zone is going to be a new skirmish miniatures game which makes use of the range that Monster Fight Club has been growing over the past year or so.
Combat Zoners A // Monster Fight Club
You will be taking control of a band of Cyberpunk characters which come from all walks of life in hopes of carving out a place amongst the warren of alleyways that make up these futuristic cities. As well as featuring the miniatures that you see here...
Edgerunners A // Monster Fight Club
...they have also mentioned that there will be new terrain to support the game as well. As it stands you can already get your hands on one of the miniature packs shown here. They come with a set of 32mm miniatures plus an array of heads to personalise and tweak them to suit your style.
Lawmen A // Monster Fight Club
The Cyberpunk Red Miniatures Line-Up from Monster Fight Club is already pretty darn hefty and should give you a good starting point to begin working on a gang ahead of the release of Combat Patrol in 2021.
We've seen plenty of Edgerunners, Lawmen and regular looking gangs of Combat Zoners but it will be fun to see them introduce more of the insanely enhanced individuals that you see in Cyberpunk further down the line!
With the video game only really working as intended on next-generation video game consoles and PCs right now it might be a good time to knuckle down on some painting and get your gang sorted for Combat Zone and enjoy Cyberpunk that way before having a crack at it in a digital format!
Are you liking the idea of this miniatures game?

Probably mix well with the minis from Gangs of Undercity or for a Shadowrun campaign. Good to see more Cyberpunk options coming out.
You might struggle with the scale, they are noticeably taller than most other miniatures. They’re really nice but I think they look conspicuous when placed with other miniatures ranges (such as the Human Interfacve miniatures).
At least these don’t have the T-pose XD
Looking forward to what terrain pieces they do for this
This sounds like Sprawl Gangers – the miniatures skirmish game Shadowrun was promised for such a long time that never materialised. However of the two I think I prefer the cyberpunk 2020 setting (now 2077) over Shadowrun so this could be fun
Actually, if they follow the background of Cyberpunk Red (the rpg) — which is more than likely — it will take place in 2045, not 2077, which is halfway between pure Cyberpunk 2020 and Mad Max.
Great looking new figures for gamers to use.
models look nice, will see how the “revolutionary, fast-paced” rules work and if they don’t fall apart at the slightest breeze of a powergamer’s BO.
I reckon I could be tempted to give this a whirl – I do love a good cyberpunk game.
The miniatures are cool but the scale is a little on the large side even for 32mm. I bought some of the miniatures and they dwarf nearly everything else in my cyberpunk miniatures collection.
Completely into Judge Dredd at the moment, but have been looking into something really cyberpunk. This might be the perfect timing…
