MOMMiniaturas Preview Their New Mighty Orc Warlord

MOMMiniaturas has been showing off a new model which might be good for those who are looking to start a new Oldhammer-style Orc army on the tabletop. Here we have their Orc Warlord, pointing out his next challenger.

I love the old style of these Orcs, almost taken from the pages of the Warhammer Fantasy Battle Armybooks. It reminds me of the artwork by the likes of Adrian Smith where they show off these grim leaders who are at odds to the comical nature of Greenskins within the Old World. This was always the hard and brutal side of the Orcs when compared to the wild and crazy Goblins and such.

As a whole, this 'unit' is looking great and I like all of the little talismans attached to his armour, perhaps a mixture of trophies and charms which have imbued his armour with power.
