There's never been a better time to get into Modern on the tabletop and Skirmish Sangin & Dishdash Games are making even harder to resist the temptation!
Check out their latest 28mm Ultramodern US Army Miniatures renders.
These and (and much more) will be part of their upcoming Kickstarter.
There's even promise of a followup with Modern Russians and vehicles.
Have you taken the leap into Modern tabletop gaming?

Very nice… with one exception: the pistol/rifle combo. One of my pet peeves I suppose. Two SMG’s, two pistols (trust me, you’ll hit more with one).
he’s not firing the rifle at the same time, you can see he’s holding it by the barrel. looks like his rifle is out of ammo so he’s drawn his sidearm, I like it.
They are trying to go for how the Average Joe in the Infantry will look in the next 2-5 years. The US does not Issue SMGs to dog faces and currently only gunners, Medic’s, and Officers get pistols in a line platoon.

Yeah I sent them a message asking about the reason to go with the Eleven over the Sig 320p. Because every thing else about them look like regular infantry with the new SPS and IHPS helmets and such.
There is even a movement to try out using suppresser for the regular infantry too to help with hearing protection and communication. With test currently being conducted by the USMC and some in the Solders system testing group. But We shell see if that idea gains any traction though.
Pistol is M1911 or one of the many clones thereof; I would have expected Sig-Sauer or Beretta instead.

Yes please!

We were trying to add a bit of character but based on the feedback we’ll most likely change this now. We hope to have the Russian renders out soon and the new vehicles. So watch this space it’s going… Read more »
