Minion Miniatures is a new company looking to bring a range of plastic and metal miniatures to the tabletop via Kickstarter later this year. The first set of creatures that have been detailed are the scampering Goblins...
As you can see they have taken a rather interesting and unique slant on the Goblin form but it's no worse for it I say! There is going to be a massive range of these critters to pick up if their plans are anything to go by...

As well as Goblins they are hoping to make Zombies and Lizardkin a reality when the fundraiser hits but the main focus appears to settle on the Goblinoids at the moment.

I can appreciate the different take on the goblins, but honestly this totally reminds me of another company that sprung out of nowhere, had never released anything ever before and asked for a lot of money in order to do plastics for what was -obviously- Warhammer Empire alternatives. It -inevitably- failed after just 6 days. We have witnessed producers (Mantic,Avatars etc) who had the know-how been handsomely rewarded money,faith and enthusiasm from us and failed to deliver. I agree with the above, but I also really like the look of these. Much better than the cartoony GW style, and the proxies that imitate it. Refreshing to have an alternative. After all, some folks play other games that have goblins in them, and these look like they need to be taken seriously.
