Minairons Miniatures Showcase A New Ship Of The Line
October 11, 2018 by brennon
Minairons Miniatures showcase a rather neat looking new Ship Of The Line which will be coming out from them soon for their 1:600 Scale collection.
The newest ship has been designed to fit in with 18th Century battles upon the high seas and the likes of the War of Spanish Succession or the Turco-Venetian Wars.
In the next few weeks, their aim is to bring these ships to life through 3D printing as well as bringing the lines down to the waterline too so that they'll work on the tabletop.
There does seem to be a great shift within the industry towards battles taking place on the high seas at the moment. Something tells me that it might become the flavour of the moment soon.
What do you make of the designs shown off here?

Ooh they look good the larger ship looks more British an functional with the other with the carved woodworking fiting in more with the Spanish/French force’s.
Those ships look really good.
These look nice. The scale is not my favorite and they’ll need a flat bottom to stand on the table.
I wonder why they wanted a full hull instead of a waterline-only model…
