Mighty Avatars Take Shape For Megalith’s Godslayer
February 28, 2018 by brennon
The Avatars for Megalith's Godslayer have been coming together nicely and recently we've got a look at the renders for two titanic additions to the collection. Firstly we have the Avatar for the Halodynes.
Standing between 65 and 70mm this is a mighty individual who will be raining down divine justice on those that stand before her. I love the angry expression on her face and the influences from the look of Athena in Greek Mythology bringing the model to life.
It would be neat to see a version of her with helmet down giving her an even more fearsome visage.
Northern Fury
We've seen the artwork for this particular lady but now we've got a look at the render for the Nordgaard Avatar!
As truly powerful beings on the tabletop, the Avatars are born from the heroic death or sacrifice of one of your models on the tabletop. They can cause some serious damage, rampaging around the battlefield for one turn but after that, they return back behind the divine gate to watch over their followers.
So, you're going to have to time your arrival of the Avatar very well and use it to its tactical best.
What do you think of these renders?
