Microworld Games Battle With 6mm Renaissance Soldiers
December 5, 2022 by brennon
Microworld Games continue the release of fun 6mm wargaming miniatures with another peek into the realm of the Historical. A new set of "Generic Renaissance" miniatures have been added to their webstore to be used alongside various empires, factions and the like during the period.

These miniatures have been sculpted by Martin Baker and could be used to represent Italians from the Renaissance or mercenaries and core troops from other armies too. There's nothing massively identifiable about them to tie them to one faction or another which is neat.

The various sets that have been added to their webstore recently include Swordsmen, Crossbowmen, Archers, Arquebusiers and more. That means you've got all of the core infantry sorted for whatever army you might have waiting in the wings.

As well as being handy for those playing Historical wargames, these would also be brilliant for anyone seeking to build a Fantasy army too. The slashed silks and the like shown here wouldn't be out of place in an Old World Warhammer Empire army for example.

I am always in awe of how much detail the folks at Microworld Games work into these 6mm sculpts. It should mean that as long as you've got a neat base coat down, a quick wash over these should have them done in no time. A great way to build a massive army quickly!
Could you be tempted by these tiny troops for use in your 6mm wargames?
