Micro Art Sacrifice Sausages To Discworld Deity Offler
December 6, 2017 by dracs
Micro Art Studios have a new model joining their range of Discworld miniatures; none other than one of its large pantheon of gods, Offler the Crocodile God.
Offler is the crocodile headed god of Klatch, but his worship has spread to Tsort, Ephebe, Djelibeybi, and, of course Ankh-Morpork. He is one of the most recognisable and popular gods of the series, often appearing with the other major deities at their home on Dunmanifestin, and can generally be enticed with an offering of sausages.
These images appeared on the sculptor Piotr Kupper's instagram and capture the likeness created in Paul Kidby's art.
As a rabid Discworld fan (if my brief diatribe on Offler didn't give that away), I am very excited to see some of the Discworld's brilliantly funny gods appearing in Micro Art's selection. I wonder how they will capture Blind Io and his floating eyeballs.
Which Discworld character do you most want to see?

Lovely work but I’d still like to see Feegles.
Feegles would be awesoe but I also would like to see more gods, perhaps Blind Io and I would certainly like to see The Lady.
Paul did the feegles himself but they were a limited run about 10 to 12 years ago. In 28mm pick up some 10 or 15mm barbarians like Mark Copplestone or Pendraken and then add kilts
I want the real deal. Hopefully they will get to them.
Paul is the artist they’re created on, can’t get more real than that. But since they’re 28mm minis I’d say very doubtful
Nice.
